Short post. I seem to have caught a fair isle fever. Or should I say “stranded color knitting”. I am just loving it. I have to get one started ASAP.
Actually, I was knitting “We Call Them Pirates“, but the color combination was not to my liking. I don’t want to go back to “We Call Them Pirates”. Not that I dislike it. I may go back to it in the future. I just want something different. I am eying some of the hat patterns in “Hats On!” by Charlene Schurch. You know Charlene, who gave us the “Sensational Knitted Socks” books. But I am also considering knitting a fair isle scarf. Two-color pattern. Any suggestion on scarf pattern?
Added question: I can’t find a scarf pattern in my Fair Isle technique books. Only pictures of them, and they all look like flattened tubes to me. Are fair isle scarves usually knit in the round too? That makes sense.
