For crying out loud. McCain and “FRIENDS” proclaimed a victory for Palin on last night’s debate. They said she did a “magnificent job.” Excuse me?!? Have we really lowered the standards of a V.P. so low that merely to complete sentences and to recite talking points can be considered awesomeness?!?
I feel a little confused. Are we trying to elect someone to fill the position of a Vice President? Or are we trying to customize THE JOB to fit a person’s ability?

the republicans have gotten morons elected vp in 88 (have you ever read the shit dan quayle said), pres in 00 and 04, and they may get another double-digit i.q. elected this year. go to obama’s website. make calls, donate. work for it so i don’t have to immigrate to haiti or something.
sigh. there’s not enough space for me to write all that’s wrong with both mccain and palin as pres and vp. i’m embarrassed that this is the best the repugs. can come up with. i guess it’s good in a way. i predict that as long as the economy is the issue and it’s bad-barack will win. if any terrorist thing happens in the next 4 weeks, american wimps will vote emotionally and the repugs will roll out the fear tactics.
I watched and had to stop myself from throwing stuff at the TV screen, I was so frustrated. I don’t think it did anything positive for my blood pressure. I wish I had more confidence in the common sense of the American public but I really live in fear that this woman will end up as our Vice President. She’s only a heartbeat away from being our actual President. Really scary!
