Close! It’s about 9.5 feet long in its current state. I think it may spring back a little when dry. I really didn’t expect it to be this long. Nothing short for me I guess.
Thanks Katie! I think it was early November when I took it to the meeting? Still, it’s taken way longer than I thought. I would knit another one though. In fact, I have yarn for another.
Holy Smokes! 9.5 ft long! whoa!! I thought I was getting a long scarf at 98.5 inches… but 114 inches of FABulous scarf…. CB, you lucky man!
Jason, seriously, gorgeous scarf!
Don’t forget… it’s double knitting, too. Meaning, it’s like knitting two scarves at once! Only that they are stuck together as one. I’ll do it again though! I am quite used to holding both yarns in my left hand now.
I can’t believe you’re going to make another one after all that hard work! Maybe make yours a little shorter, just for your own sanity. Looks great though!
So Jason. Are you like 10 feet tall? That is a really beautiful scarf. I can’t wait to see some pictures when it’s dry. Congratualtions on how it came out.
Neither can I.
You were right there with me when I knitted it!
Holy crap!! Is that, like, 10 feet long, dude?

Wow! It’s so incredible! I think the last time I saw this it wasn’t even 2 feet and now look at it!
It really turned out beautifully.

Ha ha! Pins? What are those?
Luckily, it wasn’t something that required pins. hehe

Oh Jill, I like them long.
Seriously. I like to wrap them around a few times to keep warm.

I would be rich now if I were 10 feet tall.
It worked out fine, actually. CB is really tall.
