Ashland Bay Colonial Top – Multi Dark Green
Sport Weight, 412 yards
Navajo Plied

Really difficult to photograph the finished yarn. The colors just don’t show correctly in the pictures. There’s definitely more green when you look at it with the naked eye. But I can’t really call it green yarn. There are so many colors in the fiber. Therefore the name “Forest Jewels”.

As I mentioned once, I was aiming for a 3-plied worsted weight yarn. Now I know that I will have to spin thicker with the blue sparkly fiber, which is good. It will go faster. I won’t do Navajo ply though. I will ply from 3 bobbins of singles instead.

About 60 of us got together last night to see Hunter at the Nokia Theatre. He started playing guitar for John Fogerty this year.

Only photos of the scene outside. No camera allowed inside. They almost took away my camera!

We had a nice time celebrating Thanksgiving at Dorothy’s. This was the second year that we spent Thanksgiving with her, her family and friends. She has a group that takes turn hosting dinner. This is a tradition that’s lasted for many, many, many years. Somehow we were included two years in a row. Wonder if we have been added to the list?

Antique Sweater?

Same neighbor’s yard.

The pattern of the shawl is now available. Woohoo! First go see the beautiful photos.
