Yes! The “stems” of the Lotus Blossom Shawl are done! It was really, really enjoyable. And blossom patterns has been started. 117 rows finished, 49 rows to go, plus bobbles for edging. I am so excited. I think it’s going to be done soon. Not that I am getting bored with it. I am excited to know that I can give it to my mom finally. My partner is away for the trade show again. I will have plenty of time to knit this week. hehehe
Thank you all for leaving your opinions on the sweater project. I tried to order the yarn earlier. I really did. But you know how it is. You go on the website and you see all these choices, you start wanting this and that color. :: sigh :: Try again tomorrow.

Wow, this looks wonderful! Looks like you’ve been busy while I’ve been away. I think your mom will love this
Dear Jason,
The shawl is looking really great. I have to say your patience is showing. I’m not sure I’d be able to keep on knitting a line of holes for the stems without getting a little crazy:-) I know your mother will love it and the weather being what it is, she will also benefit from the added warmth. I look forward to seeing those blossoms.
Beautiful…loving that red…also looking forward to the blossoms.
What a gorgeous red!
Thank you all for the good words!
