Back In The Saddle

You know you have been lagging when your partner asks, “why don’t you knit?” Or is he trying to get me to stop bothering him? :? (He has been sick.) No matter what, I finally dug out the unfinished “Lotus Blossom Shawl” that I put away, oh, I don’t know how long ago. I hope I remember where I left off. I don’t even know if I took notes.

Somehow I feel that I need something more to get a jump start. Maybe something different to knit along? Something not too difficult but interesting enough. I am going to have to look through the books.

I always forget to take notes and then find myself not knowing what I need to do after some time has gone by. I hope you can pick up easily. Good luck and happy holidays!

I just picked up some lace I set down a hundred years ago (OK, two months) and guessed wildly at where I was. What was I thinking?! All it would have taken is a quick mark with a pencil on the chart! Oh well, I figured it out. Hope you do the same. Happy knitting!

I’d die if I lost my notes to all my projects! I’m still in the knitting doldrums and now I have a cold. I hope the new year helps my knitting mojo! I’m reading my copy of “Victorian Lace Today” to try to get the buzz going. Happy New Year!

Thank you all! I’ve learned my lesson. I won’t be too lazy to jot down a quick note before putting away a project for extended period of time. I really didn’t think it was going to be this long before I pick up Lotus Blossom again.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year!
