How’s this for holiday spirit?
One of our neighbors enjoys putting up super-sized decorations for major holidays. Every year she would acquire something new and add to it. Some of the figures in the front are motion-activated. I think they probably scare some kids silly. Especially the ones for Holloween. She had an almost life-sized Karaoke Vampire that was motion-activated. I think it was hip-hop? I really didn’t stay long enough to listen.
How do you like those inflatable globes? One snows and one has a merry-go-round.

Dear Jason,
Looks like we have a serious case of “Holiday Fever” going on over there! We have a few neighbors over here who also like to decorate their law with the seasons and inflatable snow globes with moving characters are really big out here. Think “Steele Magnolias” without the southern accents. Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

oops! I hit “enter”
Anyway it’s good to see that frosty isn’t melting out there in the California sun!!! It’s nice and fridged here in DC. Make knitting at the bus stop a little rough.
Glad to see you’re doing well!
Jason wrote: Hey Micah. Nice to hear from you. You are doing well also I hope? I did have some hairy moments last week. But I won’t blog about it. Way too serious and personal.
Oh! It seems that a few more family & friends of Mr. Frosty showed up at her door today.
Odd
I was never into the all-out decorations (my family is)… but I do remember one year as a teenager going all out and decorating the yarn for halloween and scaring neighbor kids as I popped out of a coffin
I didn’t mean to make them cry, honest!
Jason wrote: Did you stay in the coffin all night? Now that’s dedication.
I love how you spell “yard” with an “n”. Can’t blame you when you have all that fiber in the house. hehehe
